Yar Çallee

Naberezhnye Chelny (Tatar Yar Çallı, Russian Набережные Челны, population 510,000 in 2002) is the second largest city in Tatarstan, Volga Federal District, Russia.

A major industrial centre, Naberezhnye Chelny stands on the Kama River some 225 km east of Kazan. It became a town in 1931 and was called Brezhnev from 1982 to 1988.

Yar Çallı is an administrative center of Tuqay Rayon of Tatarstan.
