Shaggy

Shaggy (born October 1968 as Richard Burrell) is an Jamaican reggae artist. He takes his nickname after Scooby Doo's companion. He moved to Brooklyn (New York?) when he was 18 and had his first hit in 1993.

His singles include Oh Carolina, Boombastic, Mr Lover Lover, It Wasn't Me and Angel

Biography

He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1988 and participated in Operation Desert Storm during the Persian Gulf War.
