This is a list of the 200 currently operating suburban railway stations (216 including greater metropolitan stations) in Melbourne, Australia. The stations make up 16 radial train lines (and 4 greater metropolitan lines) in addition to the central City Loop. Stations are broken up into 3 Metcard ticketing zones.

There are also a further 19 stations on 3 heritage tourist railways.

Stations listed in bold are terminus stations. (On certain lines, some or even most trains will terminate before the end of the line, while on other lines trains will always terminate at the last station. Shuttle trains are run between terminus stations at the end of some lines).

Stations listed in italics are "premium" stations that are manned first to last train by staff who provide extra assistance and information to commuters. Express trains will generally stop only at premium stations.

Listed in parentheses after each station is that station's 3-letter code. These codes are used internally by the railway control system, but can also be used when querying the SMS timetable. See Connex SMS Timetable for more information.

For detailed travel information, do not rely solely on this page; please refer to the Metlink website.
