Joe Dolce Music Theatre

Joe Dolce Music Theatre was the vehicle for Italian-Australian comic singer Joe Dolce. The band recorded the hit Shaddap You Face in 1981, but were unable to achieve any further success. The song was full of broad ethnic humour directed at Italians, and included the chorus "Whassamatta you, ey?/Gotta no respect/Whaddaya think you do, ey?/Why you looka so sad?/It'sa not so bad, ey/It'sa nice-a place/Ah shaddap you face".
