an

The factual accuracy of this article is disputed.

an (pronounced "eye-ya-no") is both a dialect and writing system invented by In Ivan in 1880.

an is a French-influenced dialect of the Slovak language. Numbers are only written as numerals and they are pronounced as they are in Russian. The an writing system only has three "base" letters. I, a and n. It uses over 30 accent marks. The pronunciation is difficult and best left to oral example.

There are around 500 speakers of an, mostly descendants of In's children, relatives and friends. Famous books written in an include iai aninnnan (Kings of Russia) and 30 ni na (30 cows from the earth). In Ivan also changed his name to n, meaning "creator of words" in an.
