FJ Fury

FJ Fury

The FJ Fury was the first operational jet aircraft in United States Navy service. It was delivered in 1948 and provided design inspiration for the F-86 Sabre. Ironically, the FJ-4 (which saw service for the longest period as the FJ-4 and the F-1D) was actually a Navalized version of the F-86F Sabre.
