Chasseur, meaning "hunter" in the French language. The name was used for certain infantry units in the French Army, comprised of hunters and otherwise woodsmen of France. Recognized for their aiming skills with a rifle, the chasseurs are comparable to the German Jeager, also hunters known for their sharpshooting skills.
