Aranuir

Aranuir is a fictional character from J. R. R. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth.

Aranuir was the third of the Chieftains of the Dúnedain.

Aranuir was raised by Elrond in Rivendell while his father Arahael dwelt in the wild.

At his father's death in 2177 T.A., Aranuir in turn became the Chieftain of the Dúnedain.

Aranuir died in 2247 and was followed by his son Aravir.
