A8 road

The A8 is a major road in Scotland. It runs west from Edinburgh to Greenock. The first section runs for a few miles west of Edinburgh, through the Ingliston area where it becomes the M8 motorway.

At the west end of the motorway, near the Glasgow suburb of Ballieston, the A8 separates from the M8, and cuts through central Glasgow, Renfrew and Port Glasgow before arriving in Greenock.
